Many homes across Kent have a paved area or roofing that is in need refurbishment. The simple fact is that paving and roof tiles, if left alone, will quickly deteriorate and over time will be liable to staining, loss of colour and, in the case of paving, weed growth.
We employ a 4 stage process for block paving cleaning and sealing:
Stage 1
We spray the entire block paved area with fungicidal wash to eradicate any algae spores and weed growths.
Stage 2
The area is then cleaned using a high pressured lance or rotary headed cleaner to remove any weeds, lichen and dirt that may have built up on the block paving over time. Any oil stains should also be treated and removed at this stage.
Stage 3
Pure kiln dried sand is then swept into the joints of the paving to stop any movement of the blocks.
Stage 4
Smart Seal block paving sealant is then sprayed onto the block paving. Two coats are applied to the paved area to ensure each block and surrounding jointing sand is fully covered to provide the most protection. This will provide lasting protection from the weather and general wear and tear.
