We carried out a full CCTV survey on the system and on this particular drain run we identified a circumferential crack at a pipe joint, which would allow water loss and over time the crack to become more serious.
What we are doing:
1. set out patch kit onto wet out table and mix resins
2. pour resins into patch and spread evenly
3. fold and form the patch into a 600mm repair patch
4. using packer wrap patch around it and secure tightly with bands
5. slightly inflate packer prior to entering into drain as this stops patch from moving
6. place into drain run and push into area of damage,we marked this by placing blue tape onto drain rods
7. once in place packer was then inflated to correct pressure and patch was given 30 minutes for the resins to harden and the patch to form the structural integrity of the pipe
8. the packer was then deflated and taken out of the drain run
9. using CCTV the patch was checked and the drain run fully restored
